The Yarra Valley is known for its fantastic  Warburton Rail trail. The trail is accessible at many points but begins in Lilydale and goes all the way to the charming town of Warburton. Walk the famous Bicentennial Trail, Hike the Cathedral Mountains or walk among the tall trees of the Toolangi Forest.

A trip to the Yarra Valley would not be complete without a stop at the renowned Healesville Sanctuary, home to native Australian animals in their natural surrounds which enable visitors to get up close and personnel with these wonderful, iconic creatures.

Take a drive along the famous Black Spur known for spectacular Tree Ferns hundreds of years old. This leads to the quaint town of Marysville, home of Bruno’s Sculpture Garden and Stevenson’s Falls. Definitely a great day trip!

Alowyn Gardens is a must visit if you’re a garden lover, especially when the Wysteria is blooming. The Blue Lotus Garden is a photographers paradise.

The Yering Station Farmers Market and the Yarra Glen Race course Craft markets are  extremely popular and fun for all the family.

Farm fresh produce and upick berries is a fast growing industry in the Yarra Valley and is popular among visitors.

A trip to the Yarra Valley is not complete without a visit to the Chocolaterie where indulgence is a necessity.

Lilydale Station is the closest railway to Healesville. Buses are available from the Station to Healesville, Yarra Glen and Marysville.
